Committees
Purpose:
The Raffle Committee is responsible for organizing, promoting, and executing fundraising raffles in support of the Rotary Club’s charitable and service projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and manage the logistics of raffle events, including securing necessary permits and prizes.

Establish raffle rules and ensure compliance with local and state regulations.

Design and produce raffle tickets and promotional materials.

Coordinate the sale of tickets through club members, community partners, and public outreach.

Track ticket sales and manage secure collection of funds.

Conduct the raffle drawing in a transparent and fair manner.

Announce and notify winners, and ensure prompt delivery of prizes.

Report outcomes and financial results to the club board and membership.

Evaluate the event’s success and provide recommendations for future raffles.
Committee Composition:
The committee typically includes a Chair and 3–6 members, depending on the size and scope of the raffle.
