Special Forces are Very Special

THE LAKEWOOD KEY for March 20, 2026
President Tom rang the bell on time, but after that the meeting was sheer pandemonium. Somehow, we all got through it without any fatalities, except for Tom’s wallet.
Tom said the theme for March is Water, Sanitation and Hygiene. Rotary calls it WASH.
President Tom thanked the Setup Crew including at least Rick Selden, Rob Erb, James Osundwa, Terry Roarke, Kamarie Wilson, and whoever I missed.
Tom called for Rotary Guests, but he really meant Visiting Rotarians so DG Tony Camoroda stepped right up and introduced three visitors from Kenya and Uganda. There were not many guests really, but the Scribe introduced our Program Speaker Rick Thomas and his friend (and fellow US. Army Colonel) Rich Wall, who also served with the 1st Special Forces Group at JBLM.
Bob Zawilski was the photographer and Joe Quinn served as Scribe.
