President Barlow rang us to order promptly at 12:30 and the Lakewood Rotary meeting for August 7 was under way. Mary Marlin (Marlin like the fish, not Martin like McFly) shared the poem “Today” with the club which urgers us “To look for a new way to live intentionally in this life.” I took these words to heart and intentionally grabbed an extra cookie. I realized this wasn’t really new for me, so licked the cookie* and put it back on the tray. That was definitely a new thing for me.
