According to the Atomic Clock in my head, the bell rang and the meeting started at 12:29PM……. since I’m reporting on the meeting, I thought it a good idea to have a second source and so checked my reliable mobile phone – it agreed with the Atomic Clock!
As a side note, before the meeting began, our illustrious leader, President Barlow Buescher (PBB), gave me a copy of his agenda – which I gratefully accepted. During this interaction I mentioned that his predecessor (whom I will only refer to as PTG) used the agenda as a blotter for spilled (insert a liquid) at times and at other times as a reminder that there actually was an agenda. As a scribe, trying to follow the agenda as it is written affords us (scribes) a framework from which to build the “Key” into a cohesive reading experience. Ergo, PBB and I had a nice chat about drawing arrows and lines all over the printed agenda to make it easier just in case the sequence wasn’t followed.
